We are looking for “Motor Products Senior Underwriter / Consultant Manager” for one of the global insurance companies in İstanbul.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Economics or other relevant departments,
• Preferably +6 years of experience in underwriting process in multinational organizations,
• Ability to make that detail risk assessment that contribute to the final decision,
• Advanced ability in analyzing financial results, profitability, and forecasting.
• To utilize various data to identify new profit and growth opportunities,
• To drive the development and maintenance of property and casualty insurance products with shared responsibilities for growth and profitability,
• Fluency in English language is a must.

• Ensure overall goals for production and Underwriting profitability are met by analyzing premium rates, loss experience, and retention,
• To make system definitions of new products or campaigns,
• Preparing fleet offers, pricing by risk analysis and sharing with the region or agency,
• To understand market need in terms of product mix and scope of coverage,
• Identify the data required for the preparation of high impact reports that support the analyzes developed,
• To be in contact with production resources, to carry out the relations within the framework of their responsibilities in line with the specified authorization criteria / limits and job description,
• Acts as Product Department liaison to Application Services and works with other departments which interact with the Product Department, coordinating both short and long-term activities and troubleshooting any problems which might occur,
• To periodically check the agreed policies of corporate customers, to share them with their manager and sales channel,
• To develop relations with regional offices, agencies, brokers and other intermediaries, to organize visits and meetings with foreign customers, to conduct portfolio research in order to increase communication with Sales Channels and ensure the healthy functioning of business processes.
